Why This Exists.
Honestly.
An explanation of how and why this site was assembled, maintained, and what it is actually trying to accomplish.
The origin story, briefly
This site began as a personal spreadsheet. Someone — let’s call them a person with too much time and a strong interest in comparative value — started tracking UK casino bonuses because every publicly available comparison site looked identical and read like it had been written by a committee of risk-averse interns.
The spreadsheet eventually had 40+ columns. The leap to a proper site was arguably inevitable, and only slightly more rational than the spreadsheet.
“Most casino comparison sites are effectively advertisements arranged in a table. We try to be a useful document arranged in a table, which earns some advertising revenue on the side. The distinction matters to us, even if it's a fine one.”
How offers are evaluated
Each offer is assessed against a fixed checklist before listing. Placement on this list is not paid — operators cannot purchase higher rankings.
What we look at:
- UKGC licence status — confirmed against the public register
- Wagering requirement — absolute number, and game contribution weighting
- Bonus validity window — how many days to meet wagering
- Maximum bet rule — often hidden, almost always relevant
- Withdrawal cap on bonus winnings
- Eligible games list — whether slots only, or live casino included
- Deposit method restrictions — some bonuses exclude certain payment methods
Offers are removed when they expire, terms worsen materially, or the operator faces regulatory action. We do not always catch changes the same day they occur.
On responsible gambling
We take this seriously. Not as a legal obligation — though it is that — but because the population using this site includes people for whom gambling is already a problem.
The following resources exist and are freely available:
- GamStop — self-exclusion from all UKGC-licensed operators in one step
- BeGambleAware — free support, information, and counselling referrals
- National Gambling Helpline — available 24/7 for support and advice
- Gamblers Anonymous UK — support groups and resources
